Give me Beltran.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

I take Arod. 3B isn't as deep as OF, he's a 5 tool player whereis beltran may only be 4(his avg was way low). We don't know how much Beltran will run with that huge contract and he moved into a park that does not favor the longball. The mets lineup is also very iffy this year for R/RBI opportunities.
Arod has also always improved in his second year in any new situation and while his numbers were down last year it was mostly because of his slow start. The entire yankee offense started slow and I think for whatever reason starting the year in japan caused it so I expect them all to step it up earlier this year.
I also like Vlad over Beltran though and it would be a very hard choice going arod over him, but one I'd make.

I forgot to mention, its a 6X6 keeper league, standard hitting cats + OPS and standard pitching cats + Total Bases Allowed
Does that OPS category change anything? Should it bring Helton into the mix as well?
Thanks

not Helton - but Bonds should be taken ahead of anyone in OPS leagues.
Even in the first year of a keeper league??
