Roto Newbie, Please Indulge

This will be my 1st year doing Roto (Standard 5X5) after years of doing the H2H, point-based thing.

I'm wondering what the averages are for the categories, so I can more easily decipher what helps me or hurts me in a category.
Sorry if I'm confusing. Basically if all your hitters and all your pitchers got the exact same stats, what, in general, would be enough to put you in contention to win.

For example, if everyone got .280, 20 HR, 80 RBI, 80 R, 18 SB
and all your pitchers got 13 W's, 150 K's, 3.75 ERA, 1.20 WHIP. I won't include Saves 'cause not all Pitchers get Saves.
I'm sure these #'s are way off, I'm just trying to get an idea of what's good and bad, roto-wise.
