Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

That is low. If you went RP only, you would basically be punting W and K. You would probably win 5-2 most weeks.
36 IP (trying to shoot for some multiple of 9 innings).
2 SP, 2 RP, 3 P
I always thought requiring 45 innings a week would be the most realisitc, as five games a week seems on par with what major league teams handle. On the flipside of things, I don't think anyone's fantasy team is coming up short as compared to big league clubs in at bats.
I've been debating this, for my league as well. Standard 5x5 head-to-head Yahoo! Pitching is 2SP, 2RP, 3P, with rosters locked for the week on Monday.
I was planning to require 4SP, 2SP, 1P, because if a team suffered a huge tragedy (had two starters go down in the same week or something), it would suck to automatically lose all the pitching catagories. But then again, if two starters went down, I guess you probably should lose all the pitching catagories.
Ah, thinking out loud on the forum boards. Another thing I can do online, but not in real life without looking crazy.
Is everyone pretty sure that 30 is the magic number?
