Looks as if Steriod Bonds is reverting to his miserable self, I would expect that if he didn't already say he will no longer address the steroid issue, if he hasn't already. Then, unless the media starts kissing his elbow brace, he'll likely follow with the time tested classic, "I'm not talking to the press".

I think that fans should chant "As-ter-isk" rhthymically when he walks up to the plate. He's probably sort of impervious to that stuff but to go out blaming reporters and racism is ridiculous, in light of the nature of the stories floating around. That and, of course, the "San Francisco Outfielder". What a tool!!

However much I'd gripe about Sammy corking up, standing too far off the plate and the clubhouse antics, I would not criticize him personally for it as he seems like a jolly enough guy as long as you give him the 3 hole. The ONLY value Bonds appears to have is on the baseball field as he is consistently leading MLB, NFL and the NBA in arrogance/ game. While there have always been "dark stars" in sports, Bonds is clear and away the most arrogant of them all. Hands down. I have a lot of respect for his amazing performance at the plate but zero respect for the comical manifestation of himself as he appeared today, which is the way he invariably appears whenever he opens his yap.

He cannot retire too soon for me and I was never happier watching baseball than when Carlos Zambrano K'd his arrogant butt and did the obnoxious fist-pumping dance!!
