Fair comment. I agree no one there has a really well balanced team but I guess that's the purpose now of trading.
I would be curious to see how many people autodrafted their teams.
Suprisingly not very many.
Roid rage and Nirvana were the only two.

Any other comments / feedback? I would appreciate it.
I'm using this league to trial something, which I'll reveal shortly.
Schwing!! I am always intrigued by theoretical approaches to fantasy baseball. Or are you just going to give up the Chicken Wing receipe you used to distract the other teams?
Re the draft, VMart in the 3rd , Glaus in the 4th (over Mora? and Blalock?), Piazza in 9? Palmeiro at all? I am unable to guess the secret and there often seem to be people who will ignore injuries or whatever for sentimental reasons (is there a Troy Glaus fan club?)
There's going to be reaches in any draft. There's also going to be steals. There was only 2 teams that auto-drafted. Looking at teams 1 and 2 you would think that those were them but no they were both there. And to be fair, neither team will compete.
Other than that I think most teams look reasonably competitive.
I know for a fact there are at least 6 decent owners in this league. The two that autodrafted I don't know although 1 of them obviously pre-ranked very well.
My team IS Hayburner. According to the Cafe guys that responded, there is no stand out team. The overall quality of the draft is a mixture, good and bad. That's basically what I wanted to hear.
I'm 99% sure that I win this league by a big margin. I have picked a number of players that are high risk / high reward types (I always do). At this stage though all should play in ST and all should be ready to go at the beginning of April. I don't see my team as being any riskier than any other team in the league.
What I'm going to do however is punt a category. Totally.
