Overall quality of this Live Draft?

Opinions on the quality of the draft and the likely Top 3 teams would be appreciated.

Bit of a mixed draft IMO.

Taken too early:

Clemens
Nomar
Reyes (good, but not round 4)
Boone (drafted b4 Giles?!)
C. Guillen (too risky for round 6)
Sosa
Castilla (Round 8 )
Graves
Crosby
Sweeney
Griffey
others too, but I've stopped at round 11!

Steals:

Bonds at pick 15 is a surprise
Young in round 5 is good
Ol Perez in round 6
C. Lee in round 8
Mulder in round 9 (it's all Boozehounds at the moment!)
Konerko at the end of round 9
Jason Bay in round 11 (Boozehounds again!)
J. Guillen, round 14
Pineiro could be a bargain in round 18

All in all, a very mixed draft.
I don't like Flabalance's team at all, think it will really struggle.
Looks like Afternoon delight is going to do a lot of SP churning.
Hayburner has a lot of injury questions.

My prediction for top 3 would be:


Boozehounds (excellent balance and lots of bargain picks)
roid_rage (strong hitters and good potential on the pitching staff)
Team A (strong hitters and SPs, but very short on saves)

I really didn't see any teams that I loved. It seemed like there was something missing on each team. Breaking it down to offense, SP, and RP, I don't remember seeing 1 team that had all 3.

That was an odd looking draft. Alot of people went way to early while some slipped way farther than I would have ecpected.

Fair comment. I agree no one there has a really well balanced team but I guess that's the purpose now of trading.

Aramis ramirez in the second round was the biggest surprise. Big reach there. Personally, i like roid rage, hayburner, and team A.
