is anybody aware if the rockies have traded charles johnson yet??? i know they have tried to... just woas wondering because i have j d as one of my catchers... need to know so i can plan accordingly...

Charles Johnson is like the 2nd or 3rd backup now .... don't even worry about him taking PT away from Closser.

Johnson will probably just end up being cut midseason..Closseur should be a good pick this year.. I think hell be better then Mauer personally...Especially with the thin AIR

I believe he was supposed to have been sent down, but then Torrealba went on the DL. As a Rockies fan, I have to say he was a huge bust last season.

Closser is in AAA. Miguel Ojeda will fill Yorvie's spot.

wow, ardoin is starting over closser. why dont they try to trade him for some decent pitching then?

Ardoin is sucking right now. I think it'd be tough to trade Closser as his stock isn't very high. Maybe he will get a chance while Torrealba is on the DL and Ardoin isn't doing so hot.

Well for one Ardoin is a lot better than Closser... defensively Ardoin is arguably the best in the Majors. Offensively he hasn't picked it up but he'll pick it up hopefully.
