can somebody explain to me why woody williams was chosen over peavy to start opening day??? boggles the mind...

Good question .... putting up the best ERA in the major leagues wasn't enough. :-o

they are keeping peavy for the home opener i believe. also this way, peavy doesn't have to start off in coors.
