Never played H2H - Is the strategy different?

Postby Egregious » Tue Feb 22, 2005 10:25 am

I've played in roto leagues for a few years, and this year thought I'd try a head-to-head league for the first time. Does the strategy for head-to-head leagues differ much from that used in roto leagues? (In case it matters, it's a yahoo public league)

yes - you can punt a cat in h2h and still win - in fact, punting a cat is recommended. Then there is always the pitcher churning strategy - that works well.

I also think that player rankings change depening on if its h2h or roto.
