Steals-wise I would rate those:
Roberts
Crisp
Winn
Lawton
Ford

Overall:
Crisp
Winn
Ford
Lawton
Roberts

Haven't there already been a bunch of sleeper SB topics?
Oh, and I think harris will get double-digit steals whether he starts or not
Add Burke to the list of sleepers

I'd agree - my first choice in terms of lower ranked guys with steal potential.

I also agree with Izturis and Sanchez, as the latter seems to have the starting CF job. Roberts isn't much of a sleeper to me, but as he only gives you SB, and has had injury issues, he might slip.

Womack plays for a team that runs, so he's a good option. And Tike Redman should run a little more this year.

And if they look like they'll get PT this year, Guzman, Gaithright and Tavares are good waiver-wire pick-ups.

I dont see Winn running much now that he will be hitting in the bottom part of that lineup.

Ichiro
Reed
Beltre
Sexson
Boone
Ibanez?
Winn?

Im disapointed Figgins is going so early - he's hardly a "sleeper" but for SBs he could be a moster.

Joey Gathright. This guy will replace Baldelli and start the season at Left Field and he'll be leading off. He's the only player in the major leagues that is supposed to be "faster than Crawford". Now, that's a base stealing threat. :-D

I know he's not like Pierre or Crawford, but I got Milton Bradley fairly late in my draft and he'll net you 20 homers and steals with a pretty good average too. Worth a look.

Please help me out with my team if you have a minute... http://fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/v ... hp?t=97882

20 SB's

Postby kev921 » Wed Feb 23, 2005 6:05 pm

20 SB's aren't a great number but I stongly believe that both Angel Berroa & Vernon Wells will reach that number because their teams will have to work harder to manufacture runs.

Cincy has a lot of good offensive players and not too many openings to play them, yet their pitching stinks. Why they don't make trades for arms is beyond me, but that's why they'll linger at the bottom of the NL Central.
Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
