Even Hudon is boing to bein the 30 s soon.

its an 18 team league all with $260 required to buy 23 guys each.
6x6 league

Man this is rough for my first draft lol

ANy suggestions.

SO far I was able to get

Rolen $31
Gagne $31
Varitek $15
Kazmir $8
Ray King $7 Holds is a cat

I currently have bids on : (but they will change soon . all the bids do)
Roy Oswalt $28

People are spending WAY TOO MUCH on studs and later in the draft you should get GREAT deals if u don't panic and spend too much now.

let the other owners spend their cash on these players and you will have the pick of players you want from here on out.

Just sit back and wait and fill your team with normally $15-20 guys that you can get cheaper now that everyone has spent their money on studs ;-D

Main suggestion: put your league rules into USAToday's $$ value predictor and see what reasonable prices to pay for players are. Then read the article at baseballnotebook.com about paying 80% of value when considering which players to bid on and for which prices.

question: when using these value predictors do you recommend estimating the number of batters and pitchers on your active palying roster or should you estimate what your bench will look like as well. for example. i start 13 hitters and 8 pitchers and my bench is 8 players. should i enter 13/8 or 17/12?

this always confuses me and it makes a huge difference.
