single list drafts

My league has been doing single list drafts for a while now because the whole league never has time to do a live draft (which is much better). Does anyone have any single list ranking strategies, since it is impossible to know who will be left or what order you will be in?

Welcome to the cafe. To answer your question since you dont know who is going where take the time to rank each player up to the number that will be drafted in your league. If you take the best player available each time you should be able to make some trades if you get too many at a posistion or miss something you need.

true. I usually do this and I usually end up missing out on closers. This year I have moved closers up in the rankings, but I don't want to get too many.

anyway, the question was more of a "how do you rank them" to see what other people do...
