Two fantasy questions ...

(1) Predictions please ... Lowell or Mora - which 3rd basemen is better equipped to have a better fantasy year.


(2) I can only keep eight for this years draft. When it comes to such a small amount of players is it worth keeping the best players statistics wise or to go for best players for those hard to fill positions (such as catcher and 2b). For example, my seventh and eighth keeper is either Javy Lopez, Jim Edmonds, Mike Lowell, Melvin Mora, Hideki Matsui, Jose Reyes or Roger Clemens. If I go for positions then I have to keep Lowell or Mora or Reyes and Lopez, but Edmonds has much better numbers than all 4!

[Absolutely Adequate]

1. Lowell. Mora has very little history or chance to repeat last years numbers. And both have lengthy injury histories.

2. Go for pure talent. Ignore position scarcity. I'd choose H. Matsui and J. Reyes, though, over Edmonds.

I like Mora much more than Lowell. That said there is no way you let Edmonds walk. And Matsui is someone I probably would keep over Mora also.

I wouldnt worry about Mora or Lowell I would drop them both and just keep Edmonds and Matsui

1. Mora.....he may not have the history, but Lowell does have one. And it is of utter failure in the 2nd half. Plus Mora is in Camden Yards, hitting behind Roberts and in front of Tejada. Not a bad place to be.
2. Keep Edmonds. Age, talent, I say whatever. Keep the 35-40hrs bat.
