I prefer roto because I want the champion to be the best owner over a course of 162 games - not the one who was good enough to make the playoffs and his team got hot for 3 weeks.

Ive always played roto in both NBA and MLB.

I tried to mix it up with an h2h league last season, and even though i was pretty successful it just wasn't as fun to me.

It seems more luck is involved in h2h...but that is completely debatable.

So you are saying MLB should switch there format and let the team with the best record in steals, Avg, hr, rbi and so forth have the world series trophy and not even have a playoffs? This is what I dont understand. Roto is nothing like real baseball it is just setting up a lineup and being done. In H2H you are actually playing another team "imagine that it is what baseball teams do" and you have to beat these teams to make the playoffs and then if you make it to the playoffs you have to beat 3 other teams. This sounds awful familiar to me oh yea it is like real baseball.

H2H works much better in basketball and football where you cant really churn. Roto is best for baseball. H2H is good with various restrictions though, like weekly min innings and a max transaction of like 75.
