Daily or Weekly Transactions?

This topic came up on another thread, and I'd like to know how many people use the various methods.

Benefits & drawbacks can be found here, the main ones being Daily = More interesting and Weekly = Prevents pitcher rotation problem.

My league uses daily transactions, and while pitcher rotation is a "problem", everyone does it so it is a standard. (note - limited transactions in my league, so I mean rotating people on the roster, not picking up and droping people to add extra starts).

i only do daily because its a lot more fun and it keeps you up and more interested in your team plus it causes you to check your team almost 100 times aday

Daily is a lot more involved/interesting/fun. Also, you can bench players who are getting the day off by checking lineups prior to gametime.

Daily seems to keep the activity level going. I dont like weekly leagues

Both are fun, of course, but if I have to choose one, mark me down for daily transactions, if only because there's nothing quite as frustrating as seeing a player go down on Tuesday ... knowing you can only replace him the following Monday.

I prefer daily. With weekly you setyour roster and forget about. With weekly it keeps more intrest going in the league.

LOL! That's ALL? Only 100 times? hee hee...weekends are just sick, one game on downstairs, one upstairs and dashing into the computer room for updates every 1/2 hour or so.

I am about 1/2 way between Chicago and St Louis so we usually get Cubs, Sox, Cards, Braves + whatever bonus games ESPN tosses in so I don't even need MLB TV very badly.

FWIW, everyone in our league works together, w/ a couple guys from outside the office and not everyone is a psycho about it so I think that the decision to not 'refresh' your lineup or the box score page or whatever every 20 min is more of a choice than a 'gosh, I'd love to be active but I just can't b/c of the technology thing'. I was as much of a psycho 2 years ago when I had no Cable TV ( ) and a...DIAL UP!!! EEEEK!!!

I am in leagues that employ about all of those...I do prefer daily roster moves simply because I like to keep hot players in my lineup...but weekly league make you think and strategize alot more...looking at hitting and pitching matchups alike...

i guess im alone on this but i like weekly so people cant rotate their pitchers in, also i have other things too do then check my fantasy teams 100 times a day...
