As far as i can see the only redeeming quality this guy has are his steals and his runs. My question is, how long will he stay at the top of ChiSox order if he continues to be unable to get on base? I know plans on playing small ball and stealing this year. but you can only score so many runs if you aren't on base, and if Pod isn't scoring runs will he stay in the leadoff spot?

So what kind of numbers do you see out of Podsednik? Will he be able to keep his spot in the order? Is he worth trading for? Cause i need speed bad.

I expect him to repeat similar numbers with maybe 6-8 more Runs.

I'd expect his average to increase someone in between his last 2 years. Maybe .280.. with 70+ stolen bases wouldn't surprise me and 100+ runs

I think he'll come in somewhere between his '03 and '04 numbers and have a solid year. He will be hitting in a better hitter's park, in a better lineup, and with less pressure to do it all for the team. As a Sox fan, if he can put up .275-.290 with 70+ SB's and 100+ runs, he'll be everything I wanted out of the trade and more.
