Would anyone draft hudson before sheets? I am really high on hudson this year and I should be given the opportunity to choose between the 2. One of the owners in my league decided to keep sosa over sheets. He is by far the worst owner in the league so dont laugh to hard. So with the 4th pick in the draft, I will most likely have my choice. Also the owners before me are keeping 2 pitchers each and I will be keeping all hitters. So I assume they take hitters with their picks.
I have a feeling that the majority here will go with sheets, but I am one of the those owners who likes players to have at least 2 solid years behind them. What do you guys think?

HD - Holds 5 points
INN - Innings 2 points
K - Strikeouts (Pitcher) 1 point
NH - No-Hitters 15 points
PG - Perfect Games 30 points
S - Saves 8 points
SO - Shutouts 5 points
W - Wins 10 points

I would take Sheets. The only catagories in your league tha benefit Hudson is wins(10points). Although Hudson might get around 6 more wins then Sheets, which equals to 60 more points. I think that Sheets 100 more K's and lower whip(meaing less walks and hits allowed) will overcome his shortage in wins

Hudson has more of proven track record and plays for a better team but give the young Sheets and all his K's. I don't think that Hudson can make-up in wins what he will lose in K's.
Another consideration is it sounds like you have the chance to keep Sheets. That is a BIG PLUS! How can you not like his future?

I think Sheets proved last season that he has finally arrived. He's been extremely durable and consistently getting better each season in the big leagues.
It is pretty close IMHO but I prefer Sheets since he should win more than 11 games and due to his Ks.

Yep I'm high on HUdson this year but I have to admit I'd still rather have Sheets, with his slighty better ERA and about 100 more k's he becomes more valuable than 5-8 more wins Hudson wil most likely get. Though I'd rather have Hudson and try to get a good value for Wood later for my K's.

Its a very close call, but Sheets K's make him slightly more valuable.

The WHIP isn't bad either. He issued 32 walks in 237 innings last season

Sheets by a decent bit. The K's and WHIP will more than make up for a few more wins.
