Talk about a tough offseason ...

It took Adrian Beltre almost a year to recoup from his appendicitis. Of course I think they botched the first operation.

It took me about a month before I was 100% from my appendectomy.

Really I was playing ice hockey with a belly full of stetches five days afterwards. Couldn't fully exert for about week and a half. Though I was 18, on vikedin, and didn't want to loose my spot on the top line.

Justin should be fine. As long as there isn't any mysterious illnesses alla Giambi.

I have him in a keeper and may try to trade him before this news becomes common knowledge. I'm really hurting at MI, as are most owners.

I can't believe he made it completely through the winter without this being reported.

Chicken pox at his age? :-? I hear that the older the person is the worse the sickness afflicts them. He should have gotten the vaccination by now considering it came out a few years ago.

I doubt this tough stretch effects him much though, if he has the determination to get back to form then it won't be hard to make up for the harsh offseason.
