I agree. I've got him ranked in my top 10.
I think he's got massive upside. But his injury last year and the toll that a full season can take on a pitcher is the only reason he's not in my top 5.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!

Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
it was a simple question. sorry for picking the fight. my bad.
and i have been here for two seasons, i just dont check it during the off season, because there is no need(personally) and i lost my pass.
alright, so peavy wont be there in the 5th. (something i wouldnt know) but why is he so low on everybody's list of sp's when he outperfomed everyone else last year. it seems like a guy has to do something spectacular to get any recognition in flb. why?
No way he goes in front of Prior, Santana, Schmidt, RJ, Oswalt, Prior, Sheets, Pedro, Hudson, or Schilling. Arguments can be made for Carlos Zambrano and Oliver Perez as well.
There were a lot of pitchers that just went OFF last year.
I've got the Santana, the Unit, Schmidt, Schilling, and Sheets ranked above him. It'd also be hard for me to take Peavy before Pedro, for the mere fact that Pedro's name alone is great trade bait and if he starts out well in NY he could have 1st round value in a trade. Prior is another guy who'd be hard for me to pass up for Peavy.
But you know what? It wouldn't surprise me at all if Peavy outperfomed everyone and won himself a Cy this year.

Peavy goes before Hudson on my list. Hudson comes up short in the K dept....Peavy will avg over 1 K per..and will equal or better Hudson is the other cats

I agree - I have Peavy ranked above Hudson. Other than that, I put him in the same tier as Schilling and Perez - still top 10.
