Tool is better than Sublime in pure instrumental ability, kind of like Hanson is better than the Ramones in pure instrumental ability.

But Sublime is the far better band.

Sublime sound like a joke to me, they seem too simple and stoned to be warranted a real (or at least , talented) band. Maynard is one of the best front men in the history of music imo, and Tool has far better instrumentals then any mainstream band out there right now.

Little known fact about Tool. They appeared in an episode of Mr. Show during its first season.

They portrayed a fake band that creates a theme song for Ronnie Dobbs. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'm not gonna explain all of it here.
