Of course he's nuts. He went from working at ESPN.com and downgraded to Yahoo. ESPN and their fans got smart and he either left or got booted.
Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray

ESPN has no fans.

The deep thought of Joe Morgan, Eric Karabell and Peter Gammons...OK...sure.

The best part of this thread is that not one post is in defense of Karabell and his article. I saw someone do the same thing last year in Yahoo (think it was Karabell)...what a tool!

Count on a quick shopping spree on catchers as soon as someone pulls Ivan Rodriguez, Javy Lopez or Victor Martinez off the board. The value of the three are aligned fairly close........

I'm sorry I stopped paying attention. How's this even noteworthy analysis? I picked Pudge and then I picked other catchers immediately following that pick, therefore that's how it will likely work in your draft.

All I think of is a Lewis Black quote. "....I then went straight to the International House of Pancakes, because I had to get my teeth into some food before they reached around and tried to eat MY BRAIN!!!"

But someday when I'm in a league with 11 other teams all run by Funston, I'll remember to check this out! :-P

Sad thing is, he probably considers drafting with himself/his 11 other personas normal.

Whatever Yahoo is paying this guy, they obviously did not consider the damage. This will be remebered for years. Funston, literally, the man in a league of his own.
