CBS Sportsline or Yahoo???

My league is looking for a service to host our league. We are moving from Yahoo free to a pay league this season. Which service is better, CBS or Yahoo? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? The league we are doing is a 5x5 14 team keeper league. Thanks for the help.

From what I've heard, CBS is the best money can buy. Everything is great, and the prize is cash money, not a plaque like Yahoo Plus is.

If you know the other guys in your league well enough...I would do a free Yahoo league, nominate someone trustworthy as the banker, and then use the money that you would have otherwise spent on Sportsline to sweeten the pot.

Why pay for something when you can get it free?

Hey Clev, the navigation and features are hands down better at CBS, you know the old saying about 'get what you pay for'. We've kept local Baseball and Football leagues on CBS for 4 years now after trying Yahoo for a couple of years prior to that, and no doubt about it, CBS is the preferred. I also join the Gold Leagues in baseball and football to play for prize money against people from all over, and the only problem I have with these is the 'Trade' voting policies. I've seen trades be approved or disapproved by the league only to have the Commish at CBS overturn the decision. But if you're wanting commisioner control over your league I would recommend CBS.

My money league switched to CBS this year from Yahoo.
We play 7x7 H2H. In the past, on Yahoo, we had Min IP per week. This option doesn't seem available in CBS using H2H setup. I think if you use Roto then it becomes an option.

I'm thinking we should have stayed with Yahoo. CBS isn't free and we can't even get our desired settings.

Sportsline is hands down the best. And they've made it better for 2005.

sportsline is better....but....be aware in september its hurricane season & sportslines headquarters are in ft lauderdale florida when a hurricane hits the area the sportsline service & updates are slooooooooooow.

ill take free yahoo anyday over anything that I have to pay for.
