Keeper league slow draft, how have i done so far??

Postby MBH_14 » Sat Feb 19, 2005 8:54 pm

This is a basic 5x5 10 team h2h dynasty league. We are going into the 5th rd of the slow draft. Just wanted to ask you guys how you think i am doing so far and how good you think my picks have been. Here they are:

1st Rd: Todd Helton
2nd Rd: Manny Ramirez
3rd Rd: Oliver Perez (SP were flying at this point).
4th Rd: David Ortiz

As you can tell, i have pretty much gone best available so far without consider positions, which i will likely start to focus on. Just wanted to ask you all if you think these were good picks so far. Thanks for any opinions.

One quick question ...What position are you in and is it a snake draft? .......

1st Rd: Todd Helton Always a good choice

2nd Rd: Manny Ramirez Very good Consider it a steal since you took him somewhere between 11-20 overall

3rd Rd: Oliver Perez (SP were flying at this point). Doesn't matter that's too early get the best player

4th Rd: David Ortiz Some where between 31-40 overall is a STEAL for Ortiz. NICE pick.

ok that doesnt change much

1.8 Todd Helton
2.3 Manny Ramirez
3.8 Oliver Perez
4.3 David Ortiz

I would love to start like that but even though it's a late third round pick 3.8 is still early for O. Perez....good team though....Great offense

I like it, just reqally be preudent with your pitvhers.

You now however have a solid offensive base to build your team around

Yeah I'd take another pitcher with your next pick. At 5.8 if Hudson is still there TAKE HIM AND RUN. Trust me
