8x8 Draft Suggestions

Postby Rohan » Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:38 pm

I'm in a 12 league draft with categories:

R, 2b, 3b, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS

W, L, CG, Sho, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

Jeter, Sosa, Bonds, Posada, Helton, Chavez, Edmonds, Konerko, R. Johnson and Schilling.

Be kind and rank these players in order of these categories.

Bonds, Helton, then why not Jeter. I have Jeter ranked as a 6 category player.

Jeter is a very good player, but the amount that he contributes to in 4 categories is not close to what Bonds or Helton will.

Yes, Bonds , then Helton have no argument, won't Jeter contribute to 6 out of 8 excluding 3b and RBIs. your getting 20+ steals from Jeter. and aren't Chavez and Edmonds huge injury risks?

Guess I misread your question, sorry about that. I would take Edmonds over Jeter because he isn't all that far behind Helton in production since he came to STL. He is a stud in R,RBI,HR,OPS and very strong in BA and 2B.

As far as injury goes Edmonds and Bonds are bothl somewhat of an injury risk. Although Edmonds has played in more games in the last 3 years than Jeter and Bonds is only slightly behind.
