I noticed in 2002 he had these #'s

299 Avg
96 Runs
27 HR's
85 RBI's

What happened to this guy? Could he come back to these types of #'s?

I used to be a believer in him, but with his plate discipline, I have a real hard time seeing him repeat anything close to those numbers.

Jones will come close to these #'s this year, but probably not exactly replicating these numbers.

Jones is about a top 25 OF, especially if his uncharacteristically low .254 gets raised to around .300. He's about a .300/20 HR/80 RBI/80 R/ 12 SB guy. Good all around but still several better at OF.

he usually posts a good avg and gives you a little power, but Pedantic is right, he has no plate discipline. I would take Hunter and Ford before Jacque.

with hunter ford and jones? is one guy going to DH? I thought that was morneau or someone.....I'm about to go draft and just noticed this and made me wonder.

nevermind I see see morneau is playing first - I thought there was someone else at first but i get it now.
