The Number of stolen bases

I was wondering what the the general consensus is of the number of stolen bases needed to win a league? I figure i can get about 120 of my team, (mostly out of patterson, kaz, upton, rowand, and womack). Is this going to be enough to stay competive in a 12 team 5x5 roto league.

120 will almost never win the SB category, there is most normally one manager who will overload with two of the big speedsters and run away with the category. 120 is usually enough to keep you in the top 4 at least.

i have some other speed but they are mostly 5-10 base guys

In 12 straight AL league the past four years the teams that had the most stolen bases were
2001 175
2002 134
2003 164
2004 134

there is most normally one manager who will overload with two of the big speedsters and run away with the category.

And these managers are usually the ones who quit halfway through the season, when their wretched team is coming last in Runs, HR, RBI. It drains the competitiveness from the league because they're not around to trade with, if you need the steals.
