Hidlago or Nixon?

Which OF would you take first? preferrably in a points based league.

Hidalgo had a pretty poor season last year, can he bounce back and hit for a better average at Arlington in that lineup full of those young studs ahead of him?

On the other hand, Nixon was injured a lot last season, so it's hard to judge his performance. Is he going to be splitting time with Jay Payton getting starts against the lefties?

Hmm . I like Hidalgo. Nixon's inujuries scare me - and you know he won't stop playing like a fool (ie Nails or Erstad all out type).

I think Hidalgo could have a HUGE season in Tex.

Nixon. I read yesterday where he is healthy and has strengthened his legs this off season. Apparently his back is no longer a question either. I think he's poised for another big season.

Hidalgo could also have a big year, but I think Nixon's BA will be higher and that could be the big difference.

If you take Nixon, just have a solid 4th OF, because he's likely to be platooned vs. lefthanders.
