Imagine he didn't catch fire the last month. I'm actually a little surprised by the power. I had him down for .300 BA, 100 RBI, 90 R, 25 HR and 3 SB.
Imagine if Hafner didn't miss 10+ games? He was easily on his way to 40 HRs when he got plunked in the head. He didn't hit a HR for almost a month due to this.
You look at his 162 game average and he would have hit 47 2B and 32 HR in 04, 48 2B and 40 HR in 05.
