I agree. However, it's going to take Fowler a while to get to Colorado. First, apparently he needs to work on his batting stance. Scouts say that he'll need like a year to work some issues out there.
He had some of the best tools in last year's draft, but like you said, signability issues prevented him from being drafted early. Definitely has first round talent. He will have to turn the tools into production, though. Fowler is also on the "raw" end of even the toolsy players. Guys like Milledge were more refined.
