The big question is if Kruk is still on it. That guy is an idiot.

He knows alot because he use to be a player. Good insight to the game.

You'd like to hope so, but I'm not a huge fan. I love how a guy, that by refusing to get in shape quit on every team he ever played for AND quit baseball forever in the middle of a game to protect his career .300 batting average, questions the heart and integrity of other players.

And thank heavens ESPN was able to steal Kruk away from the Best Damn Sports Show Period.

Did you read his Page 2 columns over at ESPN.com? He thinks someone named Andy Chavez played for the Expos last season and that Vernon Wells was a disapointment because he didn't hit 40 homeruns last season like he did in 2003.

I guess ESPN thinks that they need Kruk as a counter-ballance such abstract intellectuals as Rob Dibble and Jeff Brantley?

I don't have a particular problem with Kruk, but there have been way too many former-player-turned coach/GM/announcer/TV analysist that were or are awful. I agree that they have an extra level of insight, but let's not overrate that experience. There have been some great ones that never played the game.
