i have statistical evidence.
last year he hit
17hr in ny
19 away
not 2 bad
2003 in texas
26HR in tex
21 away
now in 2002 in texas yes hootie this was the case
34 HR in Texas
23 away
BUT IN 2001
26HR in Texas
26HR AWAY from texas
my point being this. His 2 huge years (2001,2002) where he hit 52 and 57 Homers. He was dead evem home/away in 2001 and 11 more at home in 2002.
in 2003 he was again pretty even only hitting 5 more homers in texas.
So obviously his usual homer total would be expected to be around 45.
He hit 38 last season, why didnt he hit 45? b/c yes he moved parks and he statted slow. So somewhere in between 45 and 38 would make sense
project 42

and anthere thing a dream of 150 rbi? only pujols could do it?
Tejada did it last season
Delgado did it in 2003
Arod has hit 140+ just a couple of seasons ago and he hit 140+ in a crappy ass rangers lineup b/c there lineup didn't get scary until arod left and teixeria and blalock and young matured.
so if arod can hit 140+ in a crappy texas lineup
how can he not hit at least 130RBI in that monster yankee lineup?
as i said earlier Yankees RUN, Texas DOES NOT
soriano stolen bases were way down and will stay down
arod bases are up
even if arod hits 4-5 LESS homer's then he would in texas
the extra 10-15 stolen bases he will get more then make up for the tiny loss of power.
Arod somwhere around
120 runs
42 Homers
130 RBI
25 SB
300 avg
that is BY NO MEANS a stretch of a projection and if he does that he is the #1 player in fantasy baseball. for sure.

Hehe, hidden meaning:
Being with Jeter is probably just about as good as being alone.
Nah, just had a blonde moment... still tipsy from partying with my sox before the WS games. Jack goes a long way....

Well... all I have to say is that A-Rod has to worry about 110 RBI before he gets ideas about 150. You guys aer crazy. He's either batting #2 in the lineup, or #3 with Womack leading off. Neither of those two situations are going to allow him to sniff 120 RBI.

We shall see. With a better year from Jeter in front of him and a better year batting with RISP he can easily reach 120 in my opinion. Alex was horrible with RISP last year and that of course kills RBI opportunities. Bringing that average back up alone should get him to 120.
