Did you check ut rotoworld today?

Charlie Manuel, says maybe Utley won't start over Polanco.
AND
Jack McKeon says maybe Mota won't close and he'll use a committee approach.

Players have to earn their Jobs, we'll see toward the end of ST if these hold true.

Don't believe everything you read.

Mota will close. I've got my doubts he's going to be as effective as many are saying but he will have the job out of ST.

Utley's starting job is a little more dubious but all the signs are there that he will be the Phillies everyday 2B. Manuel has also said that Utley WILL play more than last season. We won't know that one for sure until April, so draft Utley accordingly.

Mota will close this year, when a few of the other "committee" guys blow a few saves McKeon will give Mota the nod. I wouldn't worry about him not closing this year.

Jorge Julio is also expected to challenge B.J Ryan in spring training for the closer job. But who do you really think has the inside track here?
