harmon is a moron that knows nothing about fantasy, this whole offseason he just went by the players of each position of each team and wrote general facts about them, he didnt give his advice or his opinion at all, what a joke, i could do that crap it aint very hard to just list facts
Funston is just as bad, the guy is clueless
the reason these guys are experts is because 1. They might have a friend in the business at ESPN,Yahoo etc. 2. They started there own blog or website to publish there stuff which caught someones eye which i guarantee almost any of us guys here at the cafe could do
Hmm... good idea... maybe I should change my blog into a fantasy baseball blog. I can write, and not only do I know at least one player from each team, but I also have the ability to check fantasy and baseball sites to form my own utterly unique opinions!
quietstorm, i would like to pronounce you our own cafe expert, everything you say is right

The so-called fantasy experts really are amazing. They all seem to be some form of blithering idiot. Just a matter of the degree. Of course, when you think about it, since most of the real baseball "experts" are idiots, then why should the fantasy guys be any different? If fools like Gammons and Morgan and Costas can get paid millions to schill for Boston or babble gems of wisdom like "The Yanks just know how to win", why not fools like Funston, Karabell and the the "Talented" Mr. Roto.
Lupica is a Met Schill...Gammons a Red Sox Schill. Gammon uses the if I throw enough rumors out there eventually one will prove to be true method. Man is a fool. He predicted Kerry Wood would win the Cy Young last year...also was high on Benson when he came up...yada yada yada. You would have a better success rate with a Magic 8-ball than if you followed the musings of Gammons who if he is not just BS'ing everyone is spewing whatever Boston management tells him to.
I would say that any diligent Cafe reader at this website would curbstomp any of those "Yahoo Experts". I once emailed Funston about his big board and how you could have guys like Johan and Randy over Pujols and he totally ignored about how inconsistent pitchers can be. They aren't very reasonable.
To my knowledge, the Talented Mr. Roto still defends his Orlando Cabrera in the 4th round over guys like Oswalt pick. It is so laughable as to be pathethic.

Yahoo rankings usually help me big time in this way: others in my league tend to follow them. Seriously, Soriano so late? Bonds at #2? Unbelievable. I hope members of my league draft off that crap.
