My friends and I are competing in CBS and we're at a difference on when our draft should be. Some want to have asap and others want to wait closer to opening day, whats your opinon?

I think it really depends on what you want. If you want to make the draft more difficult (by adding chance, and actually more intuition) then do the draft early. In this case you may not know who is starting, who will get hurt, or who is playing well.
On the other hand, a late draft is good because all of the things mentioned are already known. It makes the draft less difficult in my opinion. We always wait until the last possible time before the season starts. I like it this way.
