I feel the worst for the working-class people who earn their livings in industries that depend on the NHL, everything from stadium employees, to shop and restaurant workers at places near stadiums... and so many others. They're all getting screwed the worst. A large majority of the players have enough cash to "survive"... but scrapping the season will literally drive some working folks broke.
Very unfair and upsetting. I better look at that pallbearer's cleavage again so I can cheer up.

Agreed. The working class people do get overlooked in situations like this. Hopefully, they have all landed decent jobs and will be ok.

But seriously, this sucks... they were getting close to coming to a deal, although I don't have TV I was talking to somebody on messenger about it who was watching. At least we know that Bettman isn't going to sign a deal for the hell of it and ruin the league for another 10 years. The players were the ones who had to make the neccesary concessions, and they didn't. Now we go without hockey for another year
