I would draft Sheets if he's still available, and I also like the Delgado choice. Lastly, if those two are gone, I guess I would take Giles.
One thing I want to warn you to do is take in how deep some of those positions really are - and they are deep. I would pass on any 3B at this time since you will more than liekly be able to grab one of similar value in the next rd. At this point you draft those players who will get the best stats regardless of position.
Go with Sheets! Santana+Sheets=domination

Dont forget that you can grab Reyes (2B/SS) and K.Matsui (2B/SS) much later in the draft so i wouldnt worry about M.Giles or a SS from that list.
Snag the young stud pitchers to go along with Santana and your team could kill in pitching.

Thanks for all the input guys. Good stuff here.
I was thinking of primarily focusing on hitters since pitchers are so fickle and I already have an ace but you guys have made me rethink that somewhat and take a serious look at Sheets.
Any concern that he's going to go Halladay on us this year?

In a word: yes.
Sheets' numbers got a lot better in just one year. Could be a sign of maturity, but in the position he's getting picked at in most leagues, I'd call him a gamble.
I think he could go Halladay on you, which isn't really that bad, but I don't think he'll go Esteban on you.

Chavez got taken 2 picks in front of me. I'm thinking the next guy is going to take Sheets.
That leaves my choices with:
SP Oliver Perez
SP Zambrano
SP Peavy
RP Lidge
C VMart
C Irod
1b Delgado
2b Giles
SS Rollins
SS Young
SS Nomar
3b Blalock
3b ARam
OF Matsui
OF C.Lee
OF Dunn
Position scarcity probably leads me to Giles, but I think Delgado is the best bat available (even though I'd have to play him at Util).
Is it too early (4.2) to grab Oliver Perez here or is that a reach?

Sheets is the real deal. I say he's going to the HoF one day.
He has David-Wells-like control with a Schilling-like fastball.

Out of what you have in you rlist I would pick the below guys in this order.
You may be surprised that I picked young and Goles but 2b and ss are not really the easiest to fill. I would take the oprtunity to strengthen the positions if anything you will have a strong position and other will look at yourroster to trade for.
Just my opinion though; I can be wrong.
Also I have always liked Matsui; I think he still has yet to get to his apex in MLB also if the others in his line up do great he will see even more good pitches.. I kept Delgado and Dunn in for some reason and as for Chavez yea he is a good pick.
I picked Sheets first because I remember so many times out of the blue saying to my self damn this guy has something yet he still does not have that elite tag yet in everyones minds.
SP Sheets
2b Giles
3b Chavez
SS Young
OF Matsui
OF Dunn
1b Delgado
