you all know that its a bummer when people drop out of a league. I think the solution maybe to form leagues of active cafe members. In my first league 4 years ago we were getting whipped by a blow hard, so I concentrated on beating him in 2 catagories Ks and SBs. I caught him on the last day of the season. (in those cats) And the year long 2nd place team beat him.

Not a guaranteed solution by any means.

Active Cafe members have been known to drop out of the odd league or two themselves ;-)

'Tis true. I dropped out of a mid-season league that was just too radical for it's own good, and didn't have the kinks worked out of it. That being said, I don't make it a practice to do so, and don't plan on doing it again. Sticking to good ole roto and h2h leagues, and no more crazy nonsense. ;-D
