I dont really understand your question? Are you asking for a closer that is not on that list? Greg Aquino, the D-Backs closer. But if you draft him make sure you take Valverde for insurance. Whichever one wins the job should put up decent numbers and close to 30 saves.

I appologize about posting such a vague question. What I'm asking is; What closers are still available that aren't on that list? And which, if any, would you draft?

Jose Mesa is the best available and then Bob Wickman,
Mike Adams, Justin Speier, Chin-Hui Tsao, Jeremy Affeldt and Ryan Dempster in no particular order. And as Lumberjacks mentioned, Aquino and Valverde.

If you are desperate for closers, then they're all possibly worth drafting but Mesa is the safest option by far.

Yeah I would take Mesa and my second choice would be Mike Adams.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

How many saves do you think you need to compete?

I ahve K-Rod right now. I'm looking at getting another 30+ saves to actually compete from week to week. I'll grab a MR later on to see if he snag one every now and then.
