What kind of #'s can be expected out of Austin Kearns if he is traded or gets a full season of at bats in Cincy?
.300- 30 HR- 100 RBIs
Am I way too optimistic?
What about Wily Mo Pena and Griffey with full seasons?

For Kearn's I'd say something like:
.270-30-95
WillyMo still has some growing pains to go through. Needs to reduce his K's to get his average up.
Griffey? Who's that?

I think you might be better off not making projections for a guy like Kearns and just say that he'll hit, so long as he's healthy.
I'm not just the president of the Cornbread Maxwell Fan Club, I'm also the only member.

will be a stud if he ever stays healthy. Until then, you're playing with fire if you count on him to be anything more than your utility player in a 12 team mixed league. Just too snakebitten.
If he ever does stay healthy, he's got the potential to be a top 10-15 outfielder. Again, thats a gigantic IF

With his combination of raw power, plate patience, and sandbox home stadium, his potential has no ceiling.
I'd love to get 500+ Austin Kearns AB's but considering his injury history I wouldn't put much money on it.

Sorry, I find myself pathologically incapable of compiling projections for Kearns anymore. Or Griffey. Anytime I see either name on a sheet my vision blurs and the letters appear to spell "p..e..n..a" and "f..r..e..e..l".

Does anyone think that the fact that the Reds have so many injury problems is due to a poor training staff? I'm not saying they have a poor training staff but I am curious as to why they have so many injury problems.
