Curious as to what people expect of Bonds this season. How is the knee? Will he crack under the roid pressure?
I've got the #1 pick in a keeper league and based on our draft slotting and who was kept he pretty much seems to be the only player I could justify the #1 overall with.

110 35 100 .350? if healthy
just a guess, since I don't really plan on playing fantasy this year.

Wel I'm sure you could find time for a league or two in between watching The Girl Next Door on loop
But seriously... you know what this site is meant for right? What are you here for if not fantasy baseball?

There was steroid pressure last season and it didn't seem to bother him too much.
I agree, except I would say a few less HRs. But Bonds will be a stud as always. He will be an amazing hitter till he retires. I dont really see him dropping off, since I believe he will retire after the 2006 season, when his contract runs out. Till then, I would count on first round numbers.

I don't think the steroid issue will bother Barry as much as some of the other players in the league this year. Last year was his year to deal with it.
This year I expect him to put up better numbers than last. The biggest change should be in the number of walks. That should come a litter closer to 150. He's gonna have better hitters both in front and behind him. However, I don't think the average will stay as high (.315). Both homeruns and rbi's should improve (50-110).
Bonds will be back in 2007 for the All-star game. On his lauching ramp for the homerun derby. He'll also do his grand finale tour with his homerun record in tow.
