CBS Sportsline opens 2/17 - Anyone joining Double Diamond?

Anyone here coughing up the $500 entry fee for a chance to win $3500? Anyone done this one in the past and if so, how was it? I'm thinking trade objections would be highly prevelant.

Too rich for my blood. I'm not a real big fan of the sportsline leagues. The site runs real slow at times - especially when trying to find gree agents.

I'm thinking about it. I haven't played in any of their leagues before (Gold, Platinum, etc.) but I've played in a private league with a $200 fee for the last two years and have finished 3rd and 1st, so I'm considering a Diamond or Double Diamond league. The time involved might be too much, though. I'm on the fence.

just be prepared to pay some major taxes if you win. i won a diamond football once ($250 won $1600) and got a 1099 form for it and had to claim it and it hurt my refund. i was younger then though and just took the standard deduction, so if you do itemized deductions you can claim gambling losses to offset your winnings

based on that the diamond/double diamond just isnt worth it. i just stick with the Platinum for $100
