Why is that? They will still be in the top 5-10 in runs scored and hit over two hundred home runs again. They have nine guys capable of 20+ homeruns on the team. How many other teams can say that?
Obviously the great hitters park and the ordinary division they play in helps. That lineup has a number of question marks. Pods and his .313 OBP leading off and adjusting to a new league, Iguchi - first season in the majors, Dye and Everett (need I say more), Konerko - terribly inconsistent, Rowand - only one way for him to go after 2004. That lineup could prove to be very mediocre.
