Can someone give me an idea of how it will look?
Most notably what's the injury status of Frank Thomas?

Podsednik.
Rowand.
Dye.
Konerko.
Everett.
Uribe.
Pierz.
Cruddy.
Iguchi/harris.
Depending on how well iguchi does they want him to get into the two hole so that rowand has more rbi oppurtunities.
Thomas may be back as early as last april or and late as early june.

Everett in the 3 hole, Dye in the 4 hole???

That might be the ugliest 3-4 combination in MLB

Until he gets back, I see the White Sox lineup like this.
Podsednik
Taguchi
Everett
Dye
Konerko
Rowand
Uribe
AJ
Crede
Big Frank will bump Everett from the DH spot in June.
Won't be like that at all. Iguchi will not just be handed the the two hole at the start of the season he will definitely have to earn it. I envision him struggling the first month or two trying to adjust then turn it on in june/july. Why would the bext power hitter on the team ( konerko when thomas is out) bat fifth? He will be hitting fourth no doubt about it. You cannot bat pierz and cruddy back to back because that is an automatic double play. The line-up i posted is the on that is projected every where in chicago and that line-up makes the most sense.

Why is that? They will still be in the top 5-10 in runs scored and hit over two hundred home runs again. They have nine guys capable of 20+ homeruns on the team. How many other teams can say that?

Dye at 3 makes no sense at all. He's never hit there is his career. I'll give you Konerko at 4 but no way Dye hits at 3. I still believe Konerko is better suited out of the clean up spot at 5. Assuming Iguchi has a decent enough ST, he should start the season at 2.

I actually agree with dye. I am just stating what i have heard and read here in chicago. Everett should be in damn good shape to bat third at least until frank comes back. He lost twenty or so pounds from last year. Which he really needed to do. I would flip flop everett and dye. Are you saying if iguchi has a decent spring he will bat second or start at second? Because trust me, ozzie is not one to hand over anything. He will have to earn the two hole during the season. Also, why do you think konerko is best suited for batting fifth?

Jermaine Dye is the prototypicl no. 5 guy. He needs some protection from the no. 4 and 3 spots but has plenty of POP to be in the middle of the lineup.
