magglio ordonez a steal or not????

i could get him in the 8th round , i personally am suprized hes still available, is he a steal or just an injury risk????

heres my team so far so i do need an outfielder, vernon wells also slipped so should i take him instead

8th round, I'd take Wells over Maggs

How many teams are in your league? 6? I'd rather have Vernon than Maggs but at that point I'd take Ordonez just in case or for trade bait.

10 team league, yeah im suprised their still there, ive had soriano/pujols as keepers since 02, we do the format where depending who you keep you lose the round pick so i lose a 5th for pujols and a 6th for soriano

I would take Wells over Maggs at this point.

I think Maggs will be fine this year for Detroit. That being said I would take Wells first and Maggs possibly in the next round. I believe that he will still be around due to some owners being scared of his possible injury.

Only 10 teams? Then Id leave Maggs alone. Why you ask?

Winning 10 team leagues isnt about skill. Its about who can get the best studs and keep them healthy. The team with the best studs wins if theyre all healthy. So leave the injury risk out there. If someone else takes him as a big part of their team and he gets hurt, theyre out of contention unless they get lucky and pick up a stud off waivers.

Grab another stud off waivers. Are good catchers like Posada or Lopez available? Are there stud OFs still available? Another stud SP or Closer? Grab the best player available.

Of course if Maggs, Berkman, or other injury risks are still around Round 11-14, then go grab them Be sure to have 2 OFs already before you go grab a risky OF though.
