Hey Cafe,
My keeper draft is about to begin, and we are going to be conducting our "supplemental" draft very soon. Here are some guys that are left over:
Mark Tiexiera
Brad Lidge
Mariano Rivera
Roy Halladay
Oliver Perez
Joe Nathan,
Jim Edmonds
I currently have no one on my team. I play in a 6x6 H2H league. Who would you suggest that i take first?

What about injury concerns with Halladay? Will he bounce back?

Teixeira
Perez
Edmonds
Lidge
Rivera
Halladay
Nathan
I think I'd rank them the same. Maybe move Halladay up depending on how much you like closers as opposed to starters.
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight.

I agree with those rankings although I would be real tempted to bump Lidge ahead of Edmonds.

Yes. And that's not all:
Tex
Perez
Lidge
Rivera
Edmonds
Halladay
Nathan
• Aaron Hill: Avoids DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)
• Aaron Hill: Headed for DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)

I really appreciate the advice, but why so down on Edmonds? He's still posting good numbers even with age.
How many saves for Lidge this season, would you think?

Seeing that he is 34 and couldn't put a 500AB season together in the last 3 seasons and missed 25+ games in 5 of his past 11 his value gets somewhat diminished.

I'm not down on Edmonds (granted I'm a little biased) but I'm not 100% sold on Lidge either - could be a 2003 or '04 Wagner.
Tiexiera
Perez
Edmonds
Rivera
(depending if you like closers first)
Lidge
Nathan
Halladay
Hopefully Halladay's completely back and Rivera should get more save opps than Lidge and he's money, as he's been the last several years.
