Donnelly (Ana) or J. Taveraz (StL)?

donnelly. hes the primary set up man now that k rod is closing. when he was healthy in 2003, he put up 29 holds and 79 ks. hes healthy now that his nose is fixed up, so go with him.

Donnelly is the better player.
He should get a good number of holds if he's healthy.

My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Donnelly, just my feeling

Guesstimating Holds is a crapshoot but I'd guess Donnelly too. ;-)

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I might lean to Tavarez.

Three reasons:

He is primary RH option, while Donnelly will share that with Scot Shields who is also very effective.

He has been quite good since he became a reliever.

Cards are better team, so will have more late inning leads.

Actually Shields is the Number one set-up option for the Angels now :-D

Look at Shields' numbers last season, with K-Rod as the #1.... ;-D

I would go with Scott Shields for the Angels, and Ray King for the Cardinals... ;-D (To me those are the #1 options) Guess that just goes to show..predicting the holds leaders is a crap shoot :-o
