Lieber, Westbrook was simply lucky last year....he'll come back down to earth this year and Lieber should take a step forward

I usually enjoy going against the consensus, but Lieber is the smart choice. More successful years under his belt and a strong finish to last year. He's solid where Westbrook is streaky

Lieber. Their ERA and W will be close (Slight ERA advantage for Lieber, slight W advantage to Westbrook), but Lieber wins in K's by a small margin (20) and he destroys Westbrook in WHIP.

Lieber - (and not because I'm a Phillies fan)

Westbrook's underlying skills did not support his '04 numbers. Lieber ha shown he owns the skills he has - his second half was great - and he should have his feet completley under him after surgery this year.
