Return to Baseball Leftovers

The St. Paul Pioneer Press runs a feature in every Sunday sports section called The Loop that is a series of one liners. Stuff that ranges from blaming international disasters on Joe Smith, or claiming Hans Blix has still found no evidence of Chris Hovan. But one of the better gems from last baseball season was something to the extent of:
"Chicago officials have reassured fans that repairs to Wrigley Field are going well, and fans will not need to wear hard hats while watching Cubs' games, save when Latory Hawkins is on the mound."
It still boggles the mind that a guy with only one quality pitch has had the success Hawkins has.

Brandon Backe SP HOU
Mike Cameron OF NYM for now, will be even better if he moves somewhere else I think
I'd also take Griffey Jr. on the real cheap if that happens
