I know its early, i just want to know how im doing. Im weak at SB so far, and RP...my next pick is looking to be Colon, that should lock up SO for each week. My IF is looking to be completed with hopefully Crosby and Dallas. THose are the 2 that i would like. I know i can get another RP in the later rounds. This is a h2h league, 12 teams, Snake draft, i had the 8th pick, i messed up with Thome first, but i figured he would be a good pickup...too bad he went before Tejada and RJ...Shit!...Ill keep people posted on how it goes, thanks ahead of time for comments...
you have a very nice pitching staf....but i think you picked all of your hitters earlier then they shouldve been picked. i would pick up some more hitting the next 2-3 rounds then pickup a closer.

i was thinking about that, but i didnt want to get stuck with a good team and 2nd rate closers. I was looking for Garret, but he was picked by the guy right before me. I know i need some steals, but i still need a C, i was gonna look for someone like LoDuca in the new revamped FLA offense, or Estrada...possibly even Kendell...
Boone and Sosa surely would have lasted longer then when you took them. They might pay off, but you don't want to be drafting "sleepers" this early in a draft.
Same thing with Drew.
This could be a very bumpy year if those guys don't pan out.
I wouldn't lock is on Crosby and McPherson. Both are question marks and you've dug yourself into a bit of a hole on the offensive side. I'd spend the next 6 rounds going straight hitters, best available at the postions you need.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
you might very well be in for a long season if you continue to reach to grab your offensive players.....your SP is superb if they stay healthy, so i would get the best available offensive players no matter of position for a while......
if you take colon on the next pick not only is that another question mark on your pitching staff, but it is another round where top hitters will be taken, you should go for speed asap or you will be conceding SB's every week, plus if prior and wood are back to normal you should have plenty of strikeouts, pick up ur offense for the next few rounds then go for a closer
