Juiced : Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball Got Big
by Jose Canseco
It comes out Febuary 14th, but is anyone willing to read it? On one hand it will shine a new light on our favorite athletes possiblity tarnishing our memories and their records. On the other its Jose Canseco and he may be telling a lie to two (I'm surprised its not a picture book )
I'm going to go ahead and order it. I can't wait to see what it says
I doubt I read it simply because it's Canseco's opinion and that doesn't carry a lot of weight with me.
I do believe steroids are a much bigger deal than MLB is making it out to be, but I really don't care to read about Canseco's thoughts.
Not to mention that Sportscenter will give all the good parts to us anyway.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Hope you will be able to use your discount card....'cause that still seems high priced to me....
Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
I don't know why I am the only one (or so it seems) but I have always liked Canseco. I honestly don't see what he has to lose by being honest in this book, itsx not like if he lies they let him back in anyways, why wouldn't he let the truth be known. He was on the inside guys, he knows a LOT more then we ever will. I might buy it...when I get a job.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

This is true, but he's been known to make things up, so if this isn't entirely true it over tarnishes the game. Jose- anything to make a buck.

That's pretty much my sentiments. How are we supposed to know that he's telling the truth?? Because it's in the non-fiction section??
I'm sure that there is a lot of truth to it but I don't want to be wondering which parts are triue and which ones aren't.
